The WDMCS Board of Education will hold a workshop meeting at 5:15 p.m. followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Learning Resource Center in West Des Moines.

Head football coach Gary Swenson became just the fourth coach in Iowa history to reach 400 wins when Valley beat Johnston 34-24 on Sept. 13, 2024.

West Des Moines Community Schools will induct five new members into the Valley High School Hall of Honor at a ceremony Saturday, Sept. 21.
